Walton Fields Stud are pleased to be able to say that they have purchased Deportivo and First Trump from the National Stud.

This will give us a very good selection of stallions for the 2008 stud season. Allowing for all distances and different price levels.

Now that we have the say in the stallion’s nomination fees it will give use a lot more flexibility in the deals that can be offered plus all in packages.

The new stallion Deportivo has had a very good 2007 yearling sale, with lots making 20,000 gns x 3 and 18,500 etc.

His two year olds will be going in to training with such trainers as Mick Channon, Karl Burk and Rod Milman.

Our dual Classic winner and major brood mare sire Shahrastani is in very good form and is ready for the forthcoming stud season.

He has started to get a lot more runners in the last 6 months mainly under N/H rules. We sold some of his off spring at the Doncaster Spring Sales. We have kept in contact with their new owners who are very pleased with their purchase and it is expected for them to run in the near future.
