Walton Fields Stud is run by Wayne Hutchinson who has been in the throughbred industry for many years. Having himself being brought up on a stud farm, he did an apprenticeship at Robert Percivals Glen Andred Stud and at Barleythorpe Stud before gaining his diploma at the National Stud under Joe Grimwade.
For 2010 stud season, Shahrastani, Samraan and First Trump have been joined by Prince Arch and Resplendent Glory. Therefore Walton Fields can offer the client the choice of stallions from flat to NH.
Foaling down mares are taken at Walton Fields as well as Walk In mares for other studs. Transport can be arranged.
Our veterinary pratice, Chine House is situated a short distance away and our stud vet is with us daily throughout the covering season.
