| WELCOME TO WALTON FIELDS STUD
Walton Fields Stud is a commercial stud, which is specialising in the thoroughbred industry. The principle of the stud team is to provide a full range of services with efficiently whilst at a cost-effective price.
The entrance to Walton Fields Stud is located in the quiet village of Grimston, which is in the heart of Leicestershire. The resident stallions soon greet visitors to the stud on their arrival. The stud includes 24-hour management including CCTV and a veterinary team only 5 minutes away.
We offer accommodation and grazing for the mares that are visiting the four stallions, as well as are other services. These include a foaling service from someone with over 35 year’s experience, for when that problem might arise.
A walking in service is provided, where mares are set up through their breeding cycle to walk in to other stud farms near and far with a great deal of success. We offer a modern transport service by arrangement. This will cut out the third party, which will make the process run that much easier.
We have a very reasonable veterinary scheme that caters for all standard fertility work that is required.
Walton Fields also runs a bloodstock service; this caters for sales preparation of foals / yearlings and National Hunt store stock. With the connections that we have hopefully we can find the right animal at the correct price for any particular client.
Some of the other services include the education and breaking in for their future. We have the facilities to have horses out of training that need a rest and that refreshing break or the horse that needs box rest after an injury.
We are very pleased to say that throughout all of our services, problem horses are our speciality with the number one being the problem mares that we get in foal.
